Position Overview: The Inventory and Equipment Clerk will be responsible for maintaining the quality, safety, and availability of our rental gear to ensure a seamless customer experience. This role involves meticulous management of inventory levels, overseeing the procurement of new gear, and coordinating equipment deliveries and pickups. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality and reliable equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory levels and ensure all outdoor equipment is in excellent condition.
  • Oversee the procurement of new gear and update the inventory with the latest items.
  • Coordinate with Customer Experience and Sales Representatives and Operations and Logistics Coordinators for timely deliveries and pickups.
  • Implement maintenance schedules and safety checks.
  • Maintain records of inventory and procurement activities.

You will educate clients on safety protocols, proper equipment usage, and emergency procedures to create a safe and fun environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and guide outdoor activities, including kayaking, hiking, biking, and skiing.
    • Customize and design tour itineraries based on client preferences, skill levels, and environmental conditions.
    • Educate participants on safety protocols, equipment usage, and emergency procedures.
    • Ensure all activities adhere to local environmental, safety, and licensing regulations.
    • Share knowledge about local history, wildlife, and environmental conservation to enhance the experience.
    • Address and assess the needs and concerns of tour participants, providing support and first aid when necessary.

    • First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.

    Maintenance Technician (Part-Time)

    Position Overview: As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, cleaning, repairing, and servicing a variety of rental equipment, such as bicycles, tents, kayaks, and other outdoor gear, ensuring safety and functionality for all customers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Inspect and maintain outdoor sports equipment to ensure it meets safety standards.
    • Perform regular cleaning, servicing, and repairs on rental gear, including bicycles, tents, kayaks, and more.
    • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions or damage to equipment.
    • Conduct routine inventory checks to ensure sufficient stock of well-maintained equipment.
    • Maintain detailed records of repairs, replacements, and routine servicing for each piece of equipment.
    • Collaborate with the operations team to track equipment usage and schedule necessary maintenance or upgrades.
    • Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment for events or tours.
    • Ensure that all equipment is ready for customer use with minimal downtime.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience in equipment maintenance or mechanical repair is preferred.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
    • Familiarity with outdoor sports equipment is a plus.
